Hello everyone,

So this week was lots of fun!  We had the dine college rodeo here in Tsaile.  There were schools from all over Arizona and New Mexico!  Me and Elder Fonnesbeck volunteered to help at it and so we did a lot of helping and a little watching haha ok it was totally the other way around!  The rodeo was awesome to watch!  It  was good for us to get out in the community and wear our nametags and see that we support everyone!  We talked to lots of people and it turned out to be a very good experience! We did a lot of service this week like 15 hours everything from fixing houses, to hauling MORE wood, to going to the rodeo!  It was good we are so sore right now though!  It is getting a lot colder down here which is alright its not to bad about the same as Idaho! We had the opportunity to go to the Snowflake Temple yesterday!  Man that was amazing to see all of us elders in the temple it was very cool! The new video was amazing! The Snowflake temple was beautiful it sits up on top of the hill with all the red rocks surrounding it! Sunday it was crazy we were just there having a normal sacrament meeting and all of the sudden we had investigator after investigator walk in haha it was very cool too see!  On saturday we were coming home from Lukachukai and it was raining all night and well lets just say we kind of got caught in a flash flood we were driving up the road and the current of water was coming down the road haha it was about two feet deep and so I remembered some great advice that my buddy denim hansen gave to me back in our dirt bike days!  "If in doubt,  throttle out" haha and so that is exactly what i did pedal to the floor and we barely made it through haha it was so much fun though! Anyway hope everything is well back home!

 So it has been a pretty slow week!  Not much happened!  I finally got to go to the doctor last monday man what a great way to spend a pday in a dr.'s office haha NOT!!!!!  I am feeling much better though!  I think i got a parasite in my stomach somehow, it wasnt good!  But the doctor gave me some medicine and its working they also took my blood which they should call me today and tell me if anything is too wrong with me! We went knocking on a lot of doors this last week trying to find!  It feels like we know that there is someone out there that really needs this gospel and it is our job to find them and were not going to stop until we do!  Anyway so we were out in the boonies again this week and we were walking down this long lane up to a house and we could see that the front door was open so we knew someone was home anyway we get about half way up there and SLAM there goes the door haha were like oh boy cool so we keep walking and we finally get up to the door and look and spray painted on the door in big black letter it says KNOCK AND DIE!!!!!!  Haha so i took one look at elder fonnesbeck and knocked on the door haha ya no one answered but hey look at us were still alive!!!  Anyway so that was fun just a little adrenaline rush!  I know there has been a lot of flooding back home but there is a lot here too out in round rock just about twenty miles west of us they got flooded really bad this week some of the people were stranded in there homes for a couple of days cause there was so much water around them so the National Guard came out and started taking people out of there homes by helicopter pretty cool there were so many helicopters around here! The redcross is set up here in Lukachukai for anyone that is needing shelter or help pretty cool!  So we will probably be out somewhere doing some service sometime this week!  Probably filling sand bags!  We get to go to the temple next monday im so excited it feels like i havent been to the temple in so long i miss those day me and my freinds would just load up and go to the temple before school or on a weekend or whenever we are so lucky to be able to have a temple back home and be so close to it!  Anyway love you all shoutout to my boys tearing it up on the football field!!!! 3-0!!!!!

So this week was rough i have been sick ALL WEEK and i mean like really sick hard to even get up and walk around! I couldnt just sit around the trailer though for one its way too small and its so bad to be in and for two it just didnt feel right i felt like i should still be out teaching people so we did as much as i could!  I still fell pretty sick today so idk i might be going to the hospital pretty soon!  I think its more food poisoning and not so much the flu!  Friday rolled around and it was the day of the navajo nation fair I wasnt missing it for the world!  We made it all the way to window rock and it hit me again i wasnt feeling good!  So i asked for i preisthood blessing and it did miracles that day!  I was able to make it through the whole fair standing up at the booth and talking to everybody that i could see!  It was fun and we were able to get lots of referalls from it!  That is the hard part of having a companion is although im sick he is not and i didnt want him to miss the fair all because i wasnt feeling up to it haha its hard!  Anyway we met with one of our investigators who is set up to be baptized on the 21st  she is so awesome man she is so ready!  She has met with the missionaries for a year now but she has always had a coffee problem well we set the baptismal date with her and that is all she needed she hasnt had a sip of coffee since it has been about two weeks since she has had it and she isnt going to!  She is coming right along and its so exciting to see it makes you know you are out here for a reason maybe me and elder fonnesbeck had or said or did something that was exactly what she needed and that is why she is so ready now for her baptism!  It just really reminds me im actually out here for a reason doing what im supposed to! Love you guys sorry not  much went on this week!

A washed out road

So this week was crazy like always lots went on!  We finally got to go to farmington our main purpose was to get the lock fixed on our truck so we wouldnt get locked out! Anyway We did everything holy cow I got my boots there sweet havent got to wear them yet haha but this week they will be well used!  We went to the LDS bookstore man holy cow talk about feeling like celebrities haha no it was really cool to see!  We got to go to wendy's man i miss wendy's haha baconators all day! :) We got to go to wall mart We were in line and this really nice old lady told us she would bye all of our groceries man that just made our day! I was so appreciative towards her!  Always remember to do something nice for the missionaries!  I promise it means the world to us!  You dont have to buy there groceries but just always be there for them whether it be running outside while they are biking down the road and asking them if they want a pop or a lemonade or something!  Have them over for dinner!  So this week was so funny haha so we have had this momma cat and just one kitten hanging out on our stairs of our trailer so there is this old tuna fish can that has been in our cupboard ever since i got here so i opened it up one night and went out and fed it to the cute little kitten!  haha not thinking too much about it we went back inside and got ready for bed not anymore then 5 minutes later i kid you not we hear like a thousand cats outside haha we looked out and we had cats on our truck cats on the stairs CATS EVERYWHERE  haha Elder fonnesbeck was so mad at me cause all we heard that night was MEEEEOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!! We laid in bed laughing so hard all night haha!  So there has been a bigfoot buz around here we have a lake around here called tsaile lake anyway between there and wheatfields there has been like 20 sightings in the last week i kid you not!  There is like proffesionall bigfoot hunter people out here looking for him and stuff!  We have a family in the ward that like has heard him and stuff they said its like a howl that like we have never heard before!  I am honestly a big foot believer now haha im dead serious!  I will be on the look out.  We have the navajo nation fair coming up this week not sure when we get to help at the lds booth but we should find out soon! This fair is like twice the size as the eastern idaho state fair its huge! We had a pot luck after church yesterday!  We had a really good turn out it was good to see everyone there and just talk and have a goodtime!  It was a really good week!
