pictures today so I took some pictures off his SD Card that are so cute of him and his last Companion Elder Manumaleuna. We love Elder Manu he's an amazing Elder! Can't wait to meet him someday!

Hello Everyone,
So this past week was another week in Aztec! :) It has been super hot down here we have had to start keeping us hydrated we are drinking lots of water it has helped a lot! We also decided that we need to start finding a lot better in this area we are really struggling with that and so we have started walking everywhere we go! It has helped so much it is honestly actually kind of fun! Not only do the members see you out working hard having fun but the people around you see you out working! We pass so many people everywhere we go and we have just been talking to everyone! We have gotten really good at just starting a regular conversation and from there we can see if they are interested or not just by talking to them! So hopefully that will help us find some new people! This past week we had the opportunity to go one exchanges with the Bloomfield 1st elders Elder Ruge and Elder Hullinger! They are some great elders in my time here I have seen that area work miracles they are baptizing, finding, reactivating it has been very cool too see they is so much we can learn from them! Elder Ruge came with me to Aztec man I love that guy! Elder Ruge could honestly be one of my best friends back home we get a long great! We have even talked about rooming at BYU-I back home haha who knows! So that was fun! Another fun thing that we decided to do this past week is it was Thursday and there was honestly nothing to do and so we were driving past the resting home here in Aztec and I said stop lets go ask if we can help them out with anything in there do a little service! So we went in and they were playing bingo! That was honestly so much fun to play bingo with all those old folks! It was so funny there is this 98 year old lady and everytime she loses she cusses up a storm haha its crazy but you only just have to laugh she is one of my favorites! So that is going to be fun we plan on going and playing bingo there every Thursday! Other then that there isn't much going on here were just trying to fill our days full of things to do and to stay as busy as possible because that is when missionary work really begins to be fun! I love you guys and have a great week!

Hello everyone,
So it was pretty much just another week in Aztec! We had a really fun pday on Monday we went to Mesa Verde national park! That was very cool It was hard to believe that me and my family were there about two years ago! I remember leaving that place and thinking I would never come back man was I wrong!
So the week went well we found 2 new investigators a man and his girlfriend! Its kind of a cool story we were driving around one of the trailer parks and this guy comes running up to us and asks if we have something that could help him in his life? haha uh yes sir that's exactly what we have :) So we set up an appointment with him and we taught him and his wife last week so it went really well they are very sincere and like a said they truly want what is best for there family they have a little 2 year old boy who is so fun to play around with! The best part is THERE NAVAJO :) I love my Navajo's I think I will always have such a close connection with Navajo's they grew on me and now I love them so much!
Anyway so as the week went on we had some sad things happen 2 of our investigators that were scheduled to be baptized on june 28th dropped us it was really sad to hear they texted us and told us that they didn't want to meet anymore! We have tried to stop by and text them back but they wont answer and wont respond! Were not really sure what happened but it just must not be there time! Its sad when things like that happen because in our eyes they were doing so good really gaining a testimony of this gospel and all of the sudden just like that for some reason they stop! Its very hard not to get discouraged but I just have to sit back and tell myself that there is a reason for everything and it must not be there time! The chapter in Ecclesiastes 3 help me a lot with that situation!
So on a positive note we had stake conference this last weekend we had a general authority Elder Falabella was there he is such a great speaker he did great! He is from Guatemala and has an incredible story of how the missionaries knock on his dads door in Guatemala and taught him the plan of salvation just a few months after his dad lost his wife ( elder falabella's mother) from then on once they learned families can be together forever they were converted that single doctrine was enough for him! We have two really good investigator who were able to make it to a special meeting that was for the Hispanics in the community and for them being Hispanic they came! He used to be a pastor for another church but has since started investigating our church him and his wife loved the meeting it was all in Spanish which was tough for me to understand so the Spanish elders in our zone translated and i was able to hear the whole meeting! Anyway it was a great conference! I gotta run but i love you all and hope you have a great week!

Hello Everyone,
So this past week was great! We were able to find another investigator and put two people on baptism date! The work is slowly progressing whice is really good! Yesterday was mothers day and it was a great day to really sit back and think about the wonderful mother that I have :) haha love ya mom! It was also great to think about the influence woman have in our lives and how important they really are! They truly are a blessing! We are teaching a couple of investigators we have a guy who used to be a pastor for another church! Its a little bit scary he knows the bible from the front cover to the back! He and his wife are so awesome! They are very humble and so christlike! When we teach them they are very accepting and wiling to listen but they have there beliefs right now and its gonna take a lot of prayer for them and answers to those prayers through reading the book of Mormon and continuing to read the bible! They are such awesome people though they really are! Then the two that we were able to put on date to be baptized on June 28th they are a younger couple going through some very tough times right now! They believe in the book of Mormon to be the word of god but are trying to gain the faith in all the other things god church has for them! It might take some time but we have to remain faith full with both of them everything will work out! I keep telling myself if they read the book of Mormon and sincerely pray how are they not going to receive an answer? We are going to Mesa Verde today so it should be so much fun im excited! Hello Everyone,
So I don't have too much time but I had a great week! We were able to find 3 new investigators which was great so things are really starting to pick up! Elder Livermont left this morning he is going to be in Tuba City, AZ with my trainer Elder Fonnesbeck they will have fun together! Both went to Rigby high school together so that's cool! I am now with Elder Chipman he is a great elder we are going to have a lot of fun and work very hard together things will be great! We had a chance to go to chaco canyon yesterday it was awesome I enjoyed it so much! Well I gotta run have a great week!
