Hello everyone,
So this past week was pretty good! We were excited on Friday we were able to drive to a place in Dulce in our zone to do a baptismal interview! There are no young elders in Dulce right now because we are really low in numbers in our mission but by the end of summer they are expecting to get some out there! Its apache reservation it is the most eastern part of the mission! It was beautiful! That went well and it was a fun drive out there as well about an hour and a half there and the same back! Last pday we went to bloomfield and played ultimate Frisbee it was a ton of fun we had such a blast! Transfers are this week so we will have to see what happens! Anyway kind of a slow week not much went on but im doing great! Take care and have a great week!

Hello Everyone,
So this week was really good! We started out by having zone conferene on tuesday that went really good we felt the spirit really strongly there! We were trained by President Batt at one point on having faith! That is the main thing that i took from it i realized that i need to have the faith to be able to know that our investigators will succeed sometimes when we commit them to do things and they dont follow through with them its hard to believe they eventually will but i realized i need to have the faith to know that the spirit will direct them in the way they need to go! This past week was challenging with teaching! We had appointment after appointment cancel on us which is super frustrating but it happens! We were left to do a lot of tracting! We knocked on a lot of doors throughout the week but didnt find any success! Its hard to not let it get discouraging but it ties right along with that faith part i felt like we were being tested all week to see how much we really did have! Our area really has been struggling but we are trying our best to find new strategies and techniques to make it better! Easter was great church was amazing there were some really great talks given by members of the ward! We were able to have dinner at one of the members homes that night! It was a really good meal and it just felt exactly like easter when i was there! Have a great week! Take care!

Hello Everyone,
So we had a wonderful week in Aztec this week! We were able to go on exchanges with the escrito elders on wednesday! Elder Meng and Elder Tippetts they are both awesome people! Its funny cause Escrito is actually where Elder Manumaleuna was before he came to Lukachukai! I was able to talk to a lot of the people there that new him so that was very cool! We have done a lot of finding in my time here it has been amazing at first it started out slow and nothing was working and everyone was slamming there door in our face! People are still slamming there door in our face tracting hasnt been too successfull but it is the people we talk to on the streets and the people we ask if they need help that are willing to listen! Finding comes in lots of different ways and that is something that i have definately learned in my time on my mission! The littlest moments can be in those few seconds you have to spark someones interest in learning about the gospel! That is why it is so important to listen close to the prompting of the spirit! So this tuesday we are going to be having a Zone Conference in kirtland which is right next to Farmington! Our zone the Farmington Zone and the Kirtland zone will all be there im excited! I will get to see a lot of my mtc buddies there at that conference I will finally get to see Elder Thomson who i havent seen since we left the mission home our first day! I will also get to see my mtc comp Elder Anderson im so excited for that and it should be great! Im doing great here in Aztec im learning to adapt very well! I love you all have a great week!

Hello Everyone,
So it was a great week! We had a MLC ( missionary leadership council) on tuesday! It went really good! We all felt the spirit so strongly as we counciled together on how to make the mission stronger! One thing we have really been focusing on is the book of mormon and how much power and evidence it really is! We challenge everyone we come in contact with to read the book of mormon and we promise them the blessings that will come from it! I was able to see Elder Fonnesbeck at the MLC it was really good to be able to talk to him! We talked all about Lukachukai and how the people there are doing! This past week me and Elder Livermont were out tracting and we knocked on a house a guy answered and didnt look to happy that we were there! Well just trying to spark a conversation i asked him "how long have you lived here?" He then told me somehting that put a smile on my face when he said "well i just recently moved here from Idaho! We both looked at each other and looked back at him and both said immediately WHERE???? haha He said Blackfoot it was cool to sit and talk to him! He told me about how he grew up in Groveland and was actually baptized into our church he talked about who baptized him and it was then that it blem my mind I knew the person who baptized him! Anyway this guy has an awesome family who we are now beginning to teach! Its amazing how the lord will send you to the people who are prepared and who will accept your message! I think the only reason we got in that door is because we are both from idaho! It was an awesome experience! Our area is really down right now we are doing our best to help build it back up! Knocking on a million doors haha
Its been great i love you guys take care and have a great week!
