(Elder Rushton forgot the right SD Card when he went to the Library this morning.  So he will send more pics next week)

Hello Everyone,

So this week was definaely so much different then anything i have ever experienced on my mission!  I got transferred on tuesday ! Im now in Aztec, NM our apartment is huge!  Two stories and the best part about it is i haven't hit my head on anything all week!  Me and Elder Livermont have been working so hard!  We have been spending a lot of time on out finding!  It has been good!  I honestly think i have never seen so many white people in my life it has been so different to work with these guys!   There are a lot of great people here!  Our ward is awesome!  They are so close together and so helping with the missionary work in this area!  We have been knocking on a lot of doors this week at least an hour to two hours a day!  There were a lot of doors slammed in my face and it's really discouraging but were doing our best to keep moving forward its awesome! This week we will be going on exchanges with the assistants and we have MLC (Missionary Leadership Council) all the zone leaders in the mission will be there which include my dad (trainer)  Elder Fonnesbeck  it will be fun i'm very excited!  I love it here in Aztec, NM like i said there are so many great people here who have showed me a lot of love!  I miss Lukachukai, AZ but it the lord needs me here now and i can definatly feel that!  Thanks for all you do and have a great week!

Come on out and we will teach you the real restoration!

Hello Everyone,
So this week was hard i found out i am going to be getting transfered!  I am going to be going to a place called Aztec its east of Farmington!  Its off the reservation which will be a totally different experience!  I was called to be a Zone Leader over there which is scary but i know that that calling was from the Lord so i know he knows i am ready!  I am going to be companion with Elder Livermont who is from Rigby, ID!  Im excited he was my first Zone Leader i had while i was out here on my mission and now i get to be with him i am pretty excited for that!  He is a great Elder and i know we will work very hard together!  Im excited to get there!
Saying goodbye to the people here in the Lukachukai ward was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do!  I felt the same emotions as i did when i left my family to go to the MTC!  Words cannot describe how much i have come to love these people!  9 months with these guys and It honestly feels like im leaving home again!  Im going to miss the people here so much but i want to thank them for the love and support they have showed me over the past 9 months They have seen me threw my best and worst of times and help carry me through it!  To be honest  i had the time of my life out here! Im excited to move to my new area and especially happy to get out of the camper trailer! Im looking forward to warm showers, not having to empty the septic tank every week, no more worrying about carbon monoxcide,  no more hitting my head on everything, and most importantly a church building i have forgotten what those look like :)
I will miss the people out here so much and cant wait to come back and visit them all with my family!  I wish them well and love them very much!

Achee'e' (sheep intestine wrapped around fat)  Elder Rushton said it tasted good

Hello everyone,
So this past week was awesome we got a lot done and i actually had a lot of fun!  Wednesday we were making our rounds and headed up to Wheatfeilds well, while we were up there we showed up just in time!  We just got there as they were finishing butchering a sheep!  Sadly we missed the butchering part but we were able to see the way it was cooked and how they made the Achee'e' Now the Achee'e' is part of the intestines wrapped around the fat of the sheep!  This is a navajo delicacy!  I got the chance to try it for the first time since i have been out it was a actually really good!  I wouldnt say it was the best thing i have ever tasted but it was good haha So that was really cool to be able to see! Later on in the week we were able to have the best breakfast i have ever had in my life we got some new members in our ward and they are an awesome family! They fed us just about everything we could have for breakfast and it was so good we had a great time there!  Something that has been amazing to me out here is our primary numbers.  I remember when i first got here there were one maybe two kids in primary!  We have been challenging everyone to bring there neices nephews grandkids anyone that wants to and bring them to primary!  Last sunday we had close to 20 kids in primary!  I love kids more then anyone, I can always feel heavenly fathers love for us so much when you just look at little kids, it has been so cool and fun to see those kids in primary!  I would like to send a shoutout to my buddy Kade congrats on his mission call Albequerque, NM is lucky they are getting one of the best!  The lord knew he couldnt separate us to far apart haha once New Mexico bros always New Mexico bros! I hope you all have a great week be safe and take care!

Luchachukia District

Beautiful Area

Hey that looks like my truck

Baptism

Another Baptism and Exchanges

Hello everyone,
So this week was really good we had an awesome week of exchanges i was able to get to go with Elder Quijano here in lukachukai on wedesday, while Elder Manumaleuna was in round rock with Elder Cook! Elder Quijano was great i was able to learn a lot from him he is a newer missionary in the feild but he did great!  Then on thursday i had the opportunity to go to many farms i was with Elder Petersen while Elder Manumaleuna stayed here with Elder Sorensen I learned a lot from Elder Petersen we have been in the same district together for 5 transfers now so we know each other really well and i was able to learn a lot from him!  In district meeting we have really been trying to use the book of mormon a lot more with our finding and i have been training our district on that pretty hard lately!  I feel like there is so much power behind the book of mormon and especially out here!  I dont think anyone would turn down an opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ coming directly to there ancestors and teaching them the exact same things that we teach!  We really worked on that while we were on exchanges just doing a lot of tracting and using the book of mormon as a tool!  From the numbers i have been seeing from our district they have been working miracles we are all doing great and i am so proud!
We had the opportunity this last week to have a baptism!  What a special day that was on saturday!  The girls is 15 years old and her and her mom are so awesome!  Her mom went on the Indian Placement Program so she was baptised and became a member when she was 8!  She loved her placement family and loved the activities she did with the church while she was young!  Eventually she came back to the reservation and never went back to church!
After we found here and were able to start teaching both her and her daughter they have been amazing they read the book of mormon together every night!  They have never missed a night!  One night the daughter was away staying at a freinds house and instead of just not reading it that night they read it together over the phone!  It is amazing the kind of people the lord prepares for you there are so many people out there who are so ready to hear this message!  That is why we have missionaries all over the world!  As long as we are listening closely to the promptings of the spirit we will find these people the lord has prepared for us!  I love you guys be safe and have a great week!

Hello Everyone,
So this week went by really fast before i new it it was already over!  I had the chance to be able to go on exchanges with Elder Lind one of our zone leaders i got to go to Window Rock, AZ!  It was great i was able to learn a lot from him!  That is really what the whole purpose of exchanges is, is to learn from one another!  I am getting the opportunity this next week to go on exchanges with my district to see how they are doing!  Wednesday i will be able to go with round rock, and thursday i am going to be able to go with many farms.  It should be great i am really excited!
Yesterday we only had sacrament meeting because of the Gilbert, Arizona temple dedication we were able to go to it! It was broadcast in Chinle! It was amazing being a missionary it gets hard because you can only go to the temple once a year!  It was nice because it gave us a little taste of the temple!  There were some great talks given!  It was cool to see the importance of family history work and the importance of knowing that families can be together forever!  It was nice to hear from President Monson as well!  I felt the spirit in there so strongly it was so cool!
I am loving Lukachukai, Tsaile, and Wheatfields!  I look at this place like it is my home!  I have been here 8 months today!  I love the people and love everything about this place it is beautiful!
I love you guys have a safe fun week & good luck to my boys at state!  Back 2 back!
